I have been making teapots for many years now. And I continually try and redesign a new form to refine the functionality of the piece. My ‘bird’ teapot was first made in 2000 and I have made these for almost all the last twenty years repeatedly. The design is unusual with the handle mirroring the spout. This teapot is made in a mould that includes the handle and spout in the same form without being added on in sections.
