I have been making lidded boxes for a very long time as part of a constant form that has multiple uses and is highly appreciated by chefs for serving a small treat at the beginning of the meal. I have made them in a variety of contrasting inner and outer glaze colours. They are also very practical for use as ring containers or for personal items by the bedside. The little impression on the lid serves as a place to put something small without it moving or rolling away before storage. The lid fit is snug. They can go in the dishwasher.
